Last week, individuals in the startup world gathered to discuss a collaboration with the Digital Single Market in the EU. Madrid Startup House co-founders Victor Teodosio, Asier Basterretxea Gómez, and Teresa Alarcos Tamayo had a major impact in the meeting. They voiced that Madrid has the potential to be a major digital city in both Europe and the world as it already has many startup ventures and resources. With the collaboration of MAdrid Startup House and the Digital Single Market, the startup process can not only be easier but can easily expand it's boundaries to other countries. That being said, many jobs within Europe can be created and help grow the ecoonomies for the countries within the EU.
"Our goal is to position Madrid in the top ten digital cities in Europe by 2020, and to be in the top 5 by 2025," stated Mr. Basterretxea Gómez. If all goes well, hopefully this aspiration becomes a reality. If you want to read more about this recent event, you can find the link below.
